A saying said by pessimists, because they want the whole world to think like them.
Don't be happy, don't think the world is a good place. Let me tell you the truth: it's really not. So take off those rosy glasses, and see how things really are, in all their 'true' colors.
G-d forbid the whole world should turn optimists, and the pessimists will become minority. That's what they're afraid of.
Well guess what? I'm not wearing glasses, I'm wearing contacts, and they're killing my eyes. Thank you pessimists. The world could use a few more like you.
