The jokes on me

"A man tracht, un gut lacht."

It's funny how that works. G-d is up there right now, and He must be laughing at how funny it is. But I don't find it funny. Nope.

  1. come on, tell us. don't tease us like that. Guess what? I have a great secret, but I'm not telling....

I know I do that too sometimes, but it's up to the readers to call you out on it

  5. Now that I think about it, I can't remember a single time in the Torah where G-d laughs. So I'm not sure what you could have possibly done to make him laugh Altie.

  6. What, you don't think of G-d as a mirthful being? I do. I'm sure G-d has a sense of humor.

I'm not gonna tell you what I did, cuz it's between me and G-d. But it was just those kinds of moments where G-d put a stumbling block in front of you, then you tripped, and in my opinion, G-d found it funny, cuz why would He cry?

You see where over-explaining gets you? In circles.

  7. Anthropomorphic post. Shame on you. God doesn't do stuff for kicks. But i still know what you mean, sometimes that is what it feels like.

And by the by, it's: "A mensh tracht un gott lacht"
