It's Independence Day

Fourth of July Weekend? It's in the middle of the week! I don't even get the DAY off of work, let alone a whole weekend. 

Independence day. The day that we, as a nation, as the greatest country in the world, got our freedom from Great Britain. 

Freedom of religion: I am a proud Jewish American.

Freedom of Speech: I can communicate in whatever way I wish, any ideas which I choose to share.

Freedom of Press.

Freedom to bear arms.

This country has given us many freedoms. We need to appreciate that, and utilize it in the best way that we can.

 

Let freedom ring,

let the white dove sing

Let the whole world know that today

Is a day of reckoning. 

 

Let the weak be strong,

let the right be wrong

Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay

It's Independence Day.
