Creepy

Who wears sunglasses on a day when it's not even sunny outside? And on the subway, nonetheless. It creeps me out, just a bit, and makes me wonder, is she looking at me, is she not, is she...? Guess I'll never know the answer.

  1. Many people wear sunglasses not to block out the sun but to block out their eyes. "The eyes are the entrance to the soul", and many people don't want to be "exposed" in that sort of way (which is partly why celebrities wear them).

Hey shriki, nice to see you back. As to the sunglasses, correct you are, but that may not be the reason.

  4. Just wait for the creepy man wearing opaque glasses, staring in your direction for the entire length of an hour ride. It's simply delightful.

  5. I've worn sunglasses inside or on cloudy days... mostly if I've just been crying and don't need everyone staring.

  6. "...staring in your direction for the entire length of an hour ride"- This reminds me of this time I was sitting on the subway and one stop before my stop this guy puts a paper next to me onto which he seemingly to have enough time to make an entire scetch of me! I suspected he wanted money, so I barely glanced at it and got out at my stop (not to mention he made me look pretty retarded so.. ..not that I don't look like that in real life..)

  9. I was going to say, maybe the person was crying and doesn't want anyone to see. Watch, it will be the new modest thing -- a person's eyes can be attractive, so everyone should wear sunglasses all the time. Especially the Israeli guys. Pure trouble! :)
