Conspiracy theory?

This video made me very sad and disgusted. Why do people feel the need to bring politics into EVERYTHING? 26 people died, and sick delusional people have the audacity to claim that it was a hoax by the government to assert gun control? Are you freakin insane???

I don't recommend watching this video. It just made me mad. People can make up whatever they want. You think 9/11 was staged too? You think the government killed thousands of people in order to 'control us' more?

Do you think the Holocaust didn't happen? Where was the proof in that? Maybe 6 million Jews didn't die. You start off a video by claiming that you do not claim the shooting did not take place. Then what's your point? That these people never existed? That no one died? That they were all actors?

How far are you going to take it? Paranoid people get locked up because they think that everyone is out to get them. What do you gain by claiming that the Government is out to get us?

Will you go so far as to sully the memory of the 26 people who died? Will you go so far as to say that some of them may not have died? That they were all actors? That this was entirely staged?

Bring all the evidence you want. You are making this as political as you claim the government is doing. You think the government is using this as an excuse to assert gun control? All you are doing is using a horrific tragedy to blame the government for whatever faults you see in them.

Let the deceased rest in peace, and take your insanity elsewhere.

  1. Altie - nice job dealing with the nutcase. I give you credit.

  2. Hey, nice to have a little reunion :) I read through your spat, and I'll give my take. Professor is a bit paranoid - not because he entertains the possibility of a government doing such a thing (many governments have), but because he thinks it's distinctly plausible the government did it in this case. I don't think the government did it, but they are certainly "not letting a crisis go to waste". Altie, you did attack him first by implying he doesn't let Hashem and Torah influence his positions - which I think is incorrect. Professor, you did escalate things, and Altie was only too willing to further the escalation. This spat makes the one we had on his blog seem mild in comparison :) Someone has to send you two to your respective corners.

    1. :-)

The difference between us is that I can concede to the fact that he may have a point, while he is adamant that he must be right which consequently makes everyone else wrong.

Thanks 'judge'. It's cool. He won't be commenting on my blog any more.

  3. Conspiracy or not, bad guys will always find a way to get guns, so atleast the good guys should be able to (legally) have guns to defend themselves. Your logic is basically saying that we should make nuclear weapons illegal for any country to have. Nice in theory, but it can't work. We need them to defend ourselves, while we hope we'll never have to use them. It's the same with guns. I'm of the opinion that the more folks who have guns, the less violence there will be. True, we need to keep guns out of the hands of those irresponsible, like mentally unbalanced people, just as we need to keep nukes out of reach for mentally unbalanced countries, like Iran. But just America and Israel should be able to defend themselves against rouge nations, so to we, the people, should be able to defend ourselves against rouge people.

    5. I was merely trying to give a good parallel, a mashal, to help make my point.
