It was all a joke

To all of you:

This apology is not mine, but I feel it must be said. Regarding all this tumult in the blogging community, and in particular this post and letter, I was just told that it was a joke. There is no 'tznius committee'. There are no lunatics out there trying to shut down my blog. (Not that I know of at least.)

It was just the work of two bloggers out to have some fun and play a practical purim joke. So haha, the jokes on me.

But to my credit, had it been real, I still think I handled it well.

  1. it's not you who needs to apologize... had we been real, we'd have been quaking in our boots from the armies you gathered

  4. uhu sure you do. when you thought it was real you didnt find it so funny. I think your exact words were "let me at them".

  5. I can't believe you actually thought it real in the first place, and responded to them as if it were real.

It should have been blatantly obvious either a gag or a loner.

  10. BTW, all these regretful comments are being left by my partner in crime, not myself. I am proud of what occurred, and would do it again if I had the chance. All right, so we'd make a few changes here and there, but the general idea was brilliant...

  11. I'm sure you are. I'm sure you would.

Maybe he has more compassion than you do.

Ya it was brilliant. Yay for you.

Thanks for the publicity if nothing else.

  14. trs, don't get me wrong. the idea was brilliant, and the joke was brilliant. still, to make sure there are no hard feelings, it is only right to let everyone know that we didn't mean to hurt anyone personally, if they took it that way

  15. Fair enough. Nothing was meant personally.

  16. Hey Texas Ranger -

It was pretty realistic. I mean Chabad doesn't tend to be like that but other communities certainly do... Read this - http://www.crownheights.info/index.php?itemid=23909

Having read that recently before seeing this blog... I totally thought it was feasible.

TRS & Yossi... tricky tricksters. Hey Altie, at least you know you have loyal followers and supporters. And I am happy because I found all these cool bloggers.

  17. Yeah, I thought it was strange that something like that would come from Chabad. While Chabad is reputed for being old school with guy girl stuff, Chabad isn't reputed for threats and violence about guy girl stuff.

Chabad and Satmar is another issue. XD Penguin war!!!!!! XD lol just kidding.
